Document requirements
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS


The articles are to be published in the Ukrainian, Russian or English languages.
An article and additional information are to be submitted to the editorial publishing department of the NUS in the following forms:

  • A printed version of the article in two samples (A4 format)
  • An Electronic version
  • Accompanying  documents
  • Information on the authors (an author’s form)

 
LIST OF ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTS:

  • extract from the minutes of the department meeting
  • conlusion of the experts on a possibility of publishing
  • an article review
  • the minutes of the experts committee meeting

ARTICLE STRUCTURE

The article structure is to correspond to the Requirements of the Decree of the Higher Attestation Commission dated 15.01.2003 N 7-05/1 (the report of the HAC of Ukraine No1, 2003) and contain the following elements:
 

  • Formulation of the issue in general and its connection with the most important scientific and practical tasks;
  • Analysis of the latest research and publications which consider the initial steps of solving this issue and which have been used by the author, definition of the parts of the issue which have not been decided yet and their consideration in the article;
  • The article aim, definition of the article tasks (problem definition);
  • The basic material of study with the detailed grounding of the scientific results received;
  • Conclusions on the study and the prospects of the research in future.

REQUIREMENTS OF ARTICLES PREPARATION


ARTICLE TEXT


The text is to be typed in the Microsoft Word 93-2010

  • Fond: Times New Roman, size - 14;
  • Borders: head - 2 sm; bottom - 2 sm; right – 2.5 sm; left – 2.5 sm;
  • Interval – 1.5.


FORMULAS TYPING


The formulas are to be typed in the Microsoft Equation 3 formulas editor.
The Math Type Equation must not be typed..

The following requirements are settled for formulas:  
Fond:

  • Times New Roman: for text, functions and numbers;
  • Times New Roman, italics: variables;
  • Times New Roman, bold: matrix-vector.

Font size:

  • Regular symbol – 12 pt;
  • Upper index – 9 pt;
  • Lower index – 6 pt;
  • Big symbol – 17 pt;
  • Small symbol – 13 pt.

The SI units should be used in the article.


TABLES FORMATION


The tables are to be formed in Excel or Word without filling them with colour.
Every table is to be typed with an appropriate header and numeration.
Tables width is to be not more than 16.9 sm.


FIGURES


The drawings are to be in black-and-white format, the photos are to be in the shades of grey colour, scanned illustrations are to be edited.
Font: Times New Roman, size: 10 pt.
If illustrations are fulfilled in Word, then the objects forming the illustration are to be grouped and to be a single graphic object.


BIBLIOGRAPHY


A bibliography is a list of the literature used performed in the alphabetic order after the text. First of all, the domestic sources are to be mentioned, then the foreign ones.
Please, pay attention to the requirements of bibliography preparation specified in the new national standard DSTU GOST 7.1.:2006 “Bibliography Record. Bibliography Description. General Requirements and Rules of its Formation”.
